The track as always great to drive but the predicted over night rain would keep some away. Tony and his crew prepared for this quickly cleared the track and let it stand and dry for a later start. Conditions were good and the cars remaining reasonably clean during the runs.
Qualification
In truggy Richard Baker running Brens team XT8 soon adapted to the track putting in two great runs. This put himself 2nd on the grid for the main, the revised parts and agility really helping for Richard to step up his game.
In buggy Kevin Brunsden and Brennan Ralls would battle it out both with clean fast runs with Kevin taking the the pole and Bren 3rd. At this point qualifing was haulted due to the rain starting, with racing stopped this saved the track and it soon dried out again for the finals to start.
Finals
In truggy Richard would get a good start and soon took the lead. The bumpy track caught him out and the local guys with track knowledge took advantage of this, Richard drove a great race although quicker could pull them back through some errors and settled for 3rd.

In buggy Bren would take advantage of a mistake from Kevin and 2nd and took the lead. This lead he kept till nearing the end of the race where an unlucky bounce caught him out allowing Kevin to pounce and take the lead. This is how it remained with Kevin taking the win and Bren finishing 2nd.
